MS&AD Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings, one of the world's top non-life insurance groups, headquartered in Tokyo and listed on the Nikkei 225.

Founded in October 2018 and based in Menlo Park, California, MS&AD Ventures was the first corporate venture capital arm established by a Japanese insurance company. It has grown its total assets under management to $400 million across five funds, a tenfold increase from its starting capital, with the most recent fund announced in December 2024.

MS&AD Ventures invests in early-stage startups across insurtech, fintech, artificial intelligence, mobility, sustainability, and life and health. The firm has invested in more than 110 companies globally, recorded 12 exits, and supports portfolio companies including Vouch, Artificial Labs, Node, and Jupiter through MS&AD's global network spanning more than 40 countries.

Led by CEO and Managing Partner Jon Soberg and President and Managing Partner Jack Toyama, MS&AD Ventures has been recognized with the GCV Powerlist Award and Business Insider's Seed100.
