Co-founded in 2022 by Amol Sarva and Inaki Berenguer, both scientists-turned-entrepreneurs, the fund backs early-stage companies that leverage software, data, and AI to accelerate breakthroughs in human health and planetary sustainability. LifeX has invested in more than 35 companies across the United States and Europe, focused on workflow automation, data infrastructure, AI models, and commercialization tools for biology, health, and climate.
